(1924) as a visualized ideal
of a race ennobled by sports.The monumental sculptures on Tampere's
Hämeensilta were admired for the strength contained in Aaltonen's
visualisation of man:
He has arms like a gorilla and fists like bear's
claws, a chest like a robber and a back like a wolf . . .
