Verner Thomé

Kylpeviä poikia

Of all Finnish artists Verner Thomé (1878-1953) was the one to adopt Finch's Neo-Impressionism most completely. I yearned for glowing colours, warmth, boldness, joie de vivre. With his fresh and radiant paintings of parks and shores and his pictures of naked children Verner Thomé represents the brightest rainbow colourism in Finnish art.
