Community relations and development
KEHYS

The remit of the Community Relations and Development (KEHYS) includes the development of art museums, legal affairs, marketing, and public communications. The purpose of KEHYS is to develop the operations of the Finnish National Gallery and other art museums in Finland, and to promote the community relations and social impact of Finnish art museums.

KEHYS creates new operational models and tools to support audience-based museum work. It produces research, reports, publications, and training.

Accessibility
Accessibility is a value and an attitude which permeates all activities and goals of Kehys. Its Culture for All service provides advice to people in the cultural sector on all issues concerning physical and intellectual accessibility. The website of the service – www.kulttuuriakaikille.fi – provides information on an expert network, training opportunities and tools needed to survey accessibility.
