The Photographic Service supplies print-quality slides (9

which a photo use agreement must be signed. Photo use fees
are based on a tariff specified in Finnish legislation.
The Photographic Service will be happy to answer any enquiries

Copyright
Copyright to photographs of art is held both by the artist
and the photographer. After the death of the artist, the heirs
retain copyright for 70 years. The customer is responsible
for paying any copyright fees owed to the artist. The artist/artists
estate is legally entitled to grant copyright clearance, or
to delegate this task to the Visual Artists Copyright
Association (Kuvasto). A list of artists/artists estates
that have made an agreement with the Visual Artists
Copyright Association is available at the Kuvasto website.
The Photographic Service has compiled a list of copyright
holders not having such an agreement.
