Usage rights to the photographs are granted by the Picture Collections of the Finnish National Gallery for publications, research, and various other purposes.

You can order photographs of works of art from the collections of the Ateneum Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma and the Sinebrychoff Art Museum. You can also order other photographs from the Picture Collections of the Finnish National Gallery (certain restrictions apply).

Information on the art collections is available at The Art Collections Online. For more extensive information on the picture collections, please visit the Finnish National Gallery’s Archive Collections’ premises in person. Please note that all visits must be pre-arranged.

The images ordered will be delivered via link service. The Picture Collections of the Finnish National Gallery will make a contract with the customer. A usage fee is charged for all use according to the Finnish National Gallery’s pricing policy.

When published, the following have to be mentioned: the artist, work of art, year, name of the art museum / other owner, Finnish National Gallery / Photographer’s name.

Press images for current exhibitions can be downloaded from the applicable museum’s media pages. All images used for any other purpose than current communications must always be ordered from the Finnish National Gallery’s Picture Collections.
